Youfin Bus Brake Pad Wear Sensor Warning Cable YF3501AD02‑050‑B, Disc Brake Induction Wire With Blue Waterproof Connector

Application

This brake pad wear sensor warning cable is dedicated for Youfin bus disc‑brake assemblies. It real‑time monitors residual thickness of brake pads. When brake pads wear down to safety limit, the internal wire breaks and sends alarm signal, reminding drivers to replace brake pads timely. It is widely applied on coaches and city buses with Yuanfeng disc brake system.

Product Features

1.Adopts special blue waterproof connector, excellent sealing performance, effectively blocks water, dust and mud from entering connector interior.

  2. High‑temperature resistant rubber cable, adapts to high‑temperature working environment around brake disc under frequent braking conditions.

  3. Y‑shaped split terminal structure, suitable for multi‑piece brake pad installation.

  4. Manufactured according to aftermarket replacement standard, stable and reliable alarm signal triggering.

  5. Anti‑aging outer sheath, resistant to corrosion from rain, snow and road sediment, suitable for long‑time chassis vibration environment.

Product Advantages

  1. Accurate wear reminder: Timely remind drivers of brake pad abrasion status, avoid safety hazards caused by excessive brake pad wear.

  2. Strong environmental adaptability: Waterproof, dust‑proof and high‑temperature resistant, fits various complex road and weather conditions.

  3. Direct replacement: Perfect match for original Yuanfeng disc‑brake wear sensor, no modification required during installation.

  4. Excellent vibration resistance: Wire harness is not easy to crack or break under long‑term chassis shaking, long service life.

  5. Convenient maintenance: Simple structure, easy inspection and quick replacement during regular bus maintenance.

Installation Instructions

  1. Make sure the bus is completely parked, handbrake pulled tight, and the brake system is fully cooled down before installation work.

  2. Dismount the wheel and remove the old, damaged brake pad wear sensor cable.

  3. Insert the small sensing tips of new warning cable into reserved slots of brake pads. Ensure sensing ends cling closely to brake pad friction surface.

  4. Arrange wiring reasonably and fix the harness, keep cable away from rotating brake disc and other moving components.

  5. Align and lock the blue waterproof connector with the vehicle‑side mating plug, fasten the connector buckle securely.

  6. Refit the wheel, complete assembly, carry out trial run to confirm wear‑alarm function works normally.

Notes

  1. Do not pull or twist the cable violently during installation, to prevent premature breakage of internal conducting wires.

  2. Sensing tips must be placed inside brake pad slots. Exposing sensing tips outside friction area will lead to alarm failure.

  3. Keep connector surface clean. Prevent sand, mud and water from entering the connector before plug‑in connection.

  4. Prevent the cable from being squeezed by brake caliper, suspension parts or wheel hub. Leave proper harness margin for chassis vibration.

  5. Regularly inspect the warning cable for abrasion, crack or falling‑off in daily operation. Replace immediately once damaged.

  6. This sensor is only used for disc‑brake pad wear monitoring. Do not apply it to other irrelevant systems.

  7. If abnormal alarm signal occurs, first check cable installation status and connector connection condition.
